Apostelgeschichte 3,11-26.
Petrus und Johannes hatten im Tempel einen Gelähmten geheilt. Da er sich Petrus und Johannes anschloss, lief das ganze Volk bei ihnen in der sogenannten Halle Salomos zusammen, außer sich vor Staunen.
Als Petrus das sah, wandte er sich an das Volk: Israeliten, was wundert ihr euch darüber? Was starrt ihr uns an, als hätten wir aus eigener Kraft oder Frömmigkeit bewirkt, dass dieser gehen kann?
Der Gott Abrahams, Isaaks und Jakobs, der Gott unserer Väter, hat seinen Knecht Jesus verherrlicht, den ihr ausgeliefert und vor Pilatus verleugnet habt, obwohl dieser entschieden hatte, ihn freizulassen.
Ihr aber habt den Heiligen und Gerechten verleugnet und die Freilassung eines Mörders erbeten.
Den Urheber des Lebens habt ihr getötet, aber Gott hat ihn von den Toten auferweckt. Dafür sind wir Zeugen.
Und aufgrund des Glaubens an seinen Namen hat dieser Name den Mann hier, den ihr seht und kennt, zu Kräften gebracht; der Glaube, der durch ihn kommt, hat ihm vor euer aller Augen die volle Gesundheit geschenkt.
Nun, Brüder, ich weiß, ihr habt aus Unwissenheit gehandelt, ebenso wie eure Anführer.
Gott aber hat auf diese Weise erfüllt, was er durch den Mund aller Propheten im Voraus verkündet hat: dass sein Christus leiden werde.
Also kehrt um und tut Buße, damit eure Sünden getilgt werden
und der Herr Zeiten des Aufatmens kommen lässt und Jesus sendet als den für euch bestimmten Christus!
Ihn muss freilich der Himmel aufnehmen bis zu den Zeiten der Wiederherstellung von allem, die Gott von jeher durch den Mund seiner heiligen Propheten verkündet hat.
Mose hat gesagt: Einen Propheten wie mich wird euch der Herr, euer Gott, aus euren Brüdern erwecken. Auf ihn sollt ihr hören in allem, was er zu euch sagt.
Jeder, der auf jenen Propheten nicht hört, wird aus dem Volk ausgemerzt werden.
Und auch alle Propheten von Samuel an und alle, die später auftraten, haben diese Tage angekündet.
Ihr seid die Söhne der Propheten und des Bundes, den Gott mit euren Vätern geschlossen hat, als er zu Abraham sagte: Durch deine Nachkommenschaft sollen alle Geschlechter der Erde Segen erlangen.
Für euch zuerst hat Gott seinen Knecht erweckt und gesandt, damit er euch segnet und jeden von seiner Bosheit abbringt.
Psalmen 8,2.5.6-7.8-9.
Kv: Deinen Sohn hast du als Herrscher eingesetzt über das Werk deiner Hände.
HERR, unser Herr, wie gewaltig ist dein Name auf der ganzen Erde, der du deine Hoheit gebreitet hast über den Himmel.
Was ist der Mensch, dass du seiner gedenkst, des Menschen Kind, dass du dich seiner annimmst?
Du hast ihn nur wenig geringer gemacht als Gott, du hast ihn gekrönt mit Pracht und Herrlichkeit.
Du hast ihn als Herrscher eingesetzt über die Werke deiner Hände, alles hast du gelegt unter seine Füße:
Schafe und Rinder, sie alle und auch die wilden Tiere,
die Vögel des Himmels und die Fische im Meer, was auf den Pfaden der Meere dahinzieht.

Acts of the Apostles 3,11-26.
As the crippled man who had been cured clung to Peter and John, all the people hurried in amazement toward them in the portico called "Solomon's Portico."
When Peter saw this, he addressed the people, "You Israelites, why are you amazed at this, and why do you look so intently at us as if we had made him walk by our own power or piety?
The God of Abraham, (the God) of Isaac, and (the God) of Jacob, the God of our ancestors, has glorified his servant Jesus whom you handed over and denied in Pilate's presence, when he had decided to release him.
You denied the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a murderer be released to you.
The author of life you put to death, but God raised him from the dead; of this we are witnesses.
And by faith in his name, this man, whom you see and know, his name has made strong, and the faith that comes through it has given him this perfect health, in the presence of all of you.
Now I know, brothers, that you acted out of ignorance, just as your leaders did;
but God has thus brought to fulfillment what he had announced beforehand through the mouth of all the prophets, that his Messiah would suffer.
Repent, therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be wiped away."
and that the Lord may grant you times of refreshment and send you the Messiah already appointed for you, Jesus,
whom heaven must receive until the times of universal restoration of which God spoke through the mouth of his holy prophets from of old.
For Moses said: 'A prophet like me will the Lord, your God, raise up for you from among your own kinsmen; to him you shall listen in all that he may say to you.
Everyone who does not listen to that prophet will be cut off from the people.'
Moreover, all the prophets who spoke, from Samuel and those afterwards, also announced these days.
You are the children of the prophets and of the covenant that God made with your ancestors when he said to Abraham, 'In your offspring all the families of the earth shall be blessed.'
For you first, God raised up his servant and sent him to bless you by turning each of you from your evil ways."
Psalms 8,2a.5.6-7.8-9.
O LORD, our Lord,
how glorious is your name over all the earth.
What is man that you should be mindful of him,
or the son of man that you should care for him?
You have made him little less than the angels,
and crowned him with glory and honor.
You have given him rule over the works of your hands,
putting all things under his feet.
All sheep and oxen,
yes, and the beasts of the field,
The birds of the air, the fishes of the sea,
and whatever swims the paths of the seas.
