Leo XIV appoints blatant heretics to Vatican commission. Today, Pope Leo XIV appointed 24 new members to the International Theological Commission and renewed the mandates of six others, bringing its total membership to 30. The International Theological Commission was established in 1969 by Pope Paul VI to advise the Pope and the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith. Chilean Theologian praises Communion for practicing Homosexuals Among the newly appointed members is Claudia Leal Luna, a Chilean theologian and professor at the Pontifical John Paul II Theological Institute for Marriage and Family Sciences in Rome. She is known for questioning the Church's teaching on homosexuality. In March 2021, following a declaration by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith prohibiting blessings of same-sex unions, Leal Luna attacked the document in an interview with 'Radio Universidad de Chile'. Luna criticized the Vatican's distinction between blessing homosexual individuals and blessing …Ētahi atu
Bishop Rifan wants the traditional Latin Mass to be preserved, BUT.... Bishop Fernando Rifan, head of the Personal Apostolic Administration of Saint John Mary Vianney in Campos, Brazil, has granted an interview to AdVaticanum.com on October 19. The priests of Campos were formerly allied with the FSSPX but reached an agreement with Pope John Paul II in 2002, resulting in the establishment of the Apostolic Administration. Bishop Rifan attacked his former allies: "There has always been, among the priests of the FSSPX, a common spirit of distrust towards the Roman authorities." Bishop Rifan said that regularising the community's canonical status with Rome had not presented a crisis of conscience for him. On the contrary: “The irregular situation in which we found ourselves was, in itself, something quite burdensome to our consciences.” He described the community's canonical recognition as “truly providential,” warning that “the risk of remaining in an irregular situation is that of growing …Ētahi atu

Does a Vatican Dicastery doubt that FSSPX Marriage faculties have been revoked? The Vatican’s Dicastery for Legislative Texts issued a clarification on August 7, concerning marriages within the Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X (FSSPX), according to Guy Lapierre writing on RenaissanceCatholique.fr on October 15. Lapierre writes about a response from the Dicastery for Legislative Texts without naming the addressee or context. The texts states: “The Explanatory Note published on July 2, 2026, by the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith states that marriages witnessed by sacred ministers of the Priestly Society of St. Pius X are invalid. However, it does not appear from the published text that such a declaration was approved by the Roman Pontiff with the intention of revoking or derogating from the provisions contained in the Letter of the Pontifical Commission Ecclesia Dei of March 27, 2017.” The mentioned letter of 2017 refers to Franics’ permissions for marriages celebrated by FSSPX …Ētahi atu

I Have Never Seen the Online Right So Happy nytimes.com/…19/opinion/cornell-rape-political-ri… Oct. 19, 2026, 5:03 a.m. ET By Nathan Taylor Pemberton Mr. Pemberton writes about influence and the new right. The online right has that old spring to its step. The infighting brought on by Donald Trump’s chaotic second-term agenda has settled down and the anonymous accounts have been posting at a furious clip. What is the source of this newfound unity? The accusations brought by Jane Doe against seven men at Cornell have given the online right what it’s been missing most: a woman to hate on. The social-media celebrities and talking heads of the right have jumped at the chance to pick apart Doe’s allegations of a gang rape — labeling it a “hoax” and a “witch hunt.” Unable to dispute the basic narrative of the assault, including a lurid fraternity group chat, they’ve elected to argue that Doe is the actual aggressor, a once-willing participant in sexual debauchery now seeking vengeance against …Ētahi atu
Why Is MAGA Swooning Over Richard Nixon? nytimes.com/…6/10/19/opinion/nixon-trump-vance-re… Oct. 19, 2026, 11:00 a.m. ET By Geoffrey Kabaservice and John Guida Mr. Kabaservice is the author of “Rule and Ruin: The Downfall of Moderation and the Destruction of the Republican Party, From Eisenhower to the Tea Party.” Mr. Guida is an editor in Times Opinion. Was Richard Nixon a counterrevolutionary “taken down in a Deep State coup”? A model for the new climate right? Was he also, in some ways, a progressive? On some parts of the right, Nixon is undergoing a reassessment, or redefinition, known as “Nixonmaxxing.” Young conservatives are celebrating him in Washington and on social media. With his embrace of tariffs and law-and-order policies — and his insistence that he was unfairly dogged by the deep state — Nixon has some things in common with the current occupant of the Oval Office. Is this reappraisal of Nixon about the past, or the future, of the G.O.P.? Geoff Kabaservice, the author of “…Ētahi atu
Trump Can’t Stop Praising Men’s Bodies nytimes.com/…litics/trump-men-physical-appearance… As he stumps for midterm candidates, the president has been especially eager to talk about the physical appearance of some men. By Tim BalkOct. 17, 2026 The message delivered by a president during a high-stakes midterm campaign can be critical. As President Trump travels the country ahead of this year’s elections, he might focus on selling Americans on how he will bring the Iran war to a close, or control rising prices. But in a puzzling approach, at some recent rallies he has instead started his often-meandering remarks by effusing about the physical appearances of other men and, more rarely, finding fault with them. Mr. Trump has long marveled at the physical appearance of some men, sometimes gravitating to a favored phrase to describe men whose looks he appreciates: straight from “central casting.” But lately Mr. Trump has been particularly quick to gush about male bodies. Here are five times …Ētahi atu

Missionary in Madagascar shares his joys and challenges Missionary in Madagascar shares his joys and … A Slovenian missionary reflects on the joy of the people in Madagascar, the importance of dignified work, and his primary vocation as a priest.
“Our people are poor, but they still have smiles on their faces,” says missionary Father Janez Mesec, speaking about the people among whom he lives in Madagascar. Their joy always inspires him and gives him food for thought. They find joy in the little things, but he admires something deeper: the trust with which they accept life, even when it’s difficult. This doesn't mean that there aren’t any hardships. Father Mesec also speaks of the pain of losing loved ones and of families who need assistance to survive. Walking alongside them, he repeatedly asks himself what kind of help truly benefits a person. Finding meaning in life and death When a villager dies, the community shows what mutual support truly means. They express their grief loudly and openly. Afterward, they work together to prepare everything for the farewell. Funeral rituals hold great significance for them. In their approach to death, Father Mesec recognizes a belief that life isn't entirely in human hands. “They’re …Ētahi atu

True story of a Eucharistic minister. There is a true story of a woman who shall remain anonymous, who was an Extraordinary minister of the Eucharist. She was a most devout Catholic lady, but one night she had a dream. Black Hands! – MotherofGodlibrary.org
Spare me ANY praise of JP II. He institutionalized and codified the Conciliar Revolt against God (revolt that included the exclusion of a Conciliar document on Our Lady due to "respecting" ecumenical sensitivities). The encyclical regarding Eucharistic abuses? That was published 6 months after his election to the Papacy. 14 years later: Altar girls. JP II: All hat and no cattle.
“Leo XIV to Visit Assisi for 40th Anniversary of Interreligious Prayer Meeting” - October 27 of this year marks the 40th anniversary of the infamous first interreligious ‘World Day of Prayer for Peace’ meeting hosted by Bishop Karol Wojtyla, otherwise known as ‘Pope’ (and now ‘Saint’) John Paul II, in Assisi, Italy. On that day in 1986, representatives of the world’s major religions came together, under the leadership of the man almost everyone thought was the Pope of the Catholic Church, to pray for world peace. The religions represented included counterfeit ‘Catholicism’, Eastern Orthodoxy, Protestantism, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Shintoism, Tenrikyo, Sikhism, Hinduism, Zoroastrianism, Baha’i, African traditional religions (incl. Voodooism), and Native American religions. This motley crew assembled in Assisi, first at the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels for an opening address by John Paul II. Then the representatives for each religion went to a separate, designated place at which …Ētahi atu
19.10.2026 RELIGIOUS IN ROME DENY THE CATHOLIC FAITH TO BE POLITICALLY CORRECT WITH THE SECULAR AUTHORITIES : VOWS OBSOLETE We now know that Vatican Council II is aligned with Tradition. Ad Gentes 7 says all need faith and baptism for salvation. So AG 7 is in line with the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus of the Council of Florence 1442. Meanwhile LG 8, 14, 16 etc in Vatican Council II are hypothetical cases. So they are not practical exceptions for the dogma extra eccllesiam nulla salus (EENS), AG 7 or the Catechism of the Catholic Church on outside the Church there is no salvation ( CCC 846). But this is not mentioned by Bishop Athanasius Schneider in a recent interview with Michael Matt. They choose to interpret Vatican Council II like over the 60 years, with LG 8, 14, 16 being visible examples of salvation outside the Catholic Church in the present times, making the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus, with no exceptions, which they do not affirm in public, obsolete. So the Summorum …Ētahi atu
Gänswein avoids answering question about the traditional Latin Mass. During an October 17 interview on Twitch.tv, Archbishop Georg Gänswein was asked whether the more liberal German Church could learn from growing interest in Catholicism among young people in France and the US. The interviewer specifically mentioned the “Mass according to old rites” as a possible reason for success there. Gänswein did not directly address the old Mass. Instead, he said young people are “searching for answers” and finding “nourishment” in the Gospel and the Church’s message. He stressed that faith is not merely “something I have intellectually in my head.” What matters, he said, is a relationship with “the person who is essential to Christianity, namely Jesus Christ.”
Frage an Gänswein: Bewegt die jüngere Generation so etwas wie die Messe in alten Riten? Wäre das – nach dem Vorbild von Frankreich und den USA – ein Erfolgsmodell für Deutschland?
